Hospital of Stomatology offered free consultations ahead of Dental Care Day

In the morning on September 16, the Hospital of Stomatology of Sun Yat-sen University organized an activity ahead of the Dental Care Day, which falls on September 20. This year’s theme is “promoting oral health and improving quality of life”. Specialists from Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics Department, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department, Prosthodontics Department and Orthodontics Department offered free consultations. Executive Deputy Dean Cheng Bin and Deputy Dean Lin Huancai took part in the event.
Dental specialists offering free consultations
The specialists listened carefully to the patients’ questions, and gave detailed explanations and professional guidance. The organizers prepared posters about Dental Care Day and delivered brochures on dental health, dental diseases and treatment.
Nearly 350 people received dental health consultations. The event attracted the attention from provincial and municipal media. Deputy Dean Lin Huancai received interviews about oral disease prevention and control.
