Recently, Dr. Tsang Hin-chi, chairman of Goldlion Group and alumnus of Sun Yat-sen University, has decided to donate 2 million Hong Kong dollars to The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University to set up the Tsang Hin-chi clinical medicine exchange foundation. On the morning of May 15, 2015, Prof. Xiao Haipeng, President and Party Secretary of The First Affiliated Hospital, accepted the donation and signed relevant agreement with Dr. Tsang Hin-chi on behalf of the hospital.
The foundation is aimed at promoting the development of medical education. It will be specially used to support clinicians at The First Affiliated Hospital to attend short-term exchange programs, and will be managed by SYSU Education Development Foundation.
