Recently, the teaching team, headed by Prof Wang Jinfa from the Schoolof Life Sciences, held the ninth seminar of “Philosophy and Modes of Free Style Research Based Teaching” at SYSU. More than 40 teachers from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Yunnan University, South China Normal University, Beijing Forestry University, Northeast Normal University, Xinjiang University, Hunan University of Technology and other universities attended the seminar. Prof. Chen Chunsheng was present in the open ceremony of the seminar.

The national “Cell Biology and Genetics Research Teaching Team’ headed by Prof Wang Jinfa, is committed to exerting undergraduate teaching reform, putting forward innovative reference to “research-teaching” concept, establishing an “open-research’ teaching model, and has acquired some new experiences in aspects such as aching method, fine course construction, and teaching material construction , etc. The team had been holding research-teaching seminar twice per year since 2004 and has been well received by domestic universities counterparts.
