According to the announcement of National Planning Office, after the Initial evaluation and re-evaluation by experts, approved by Leading Group of National philosophical and social planning office, SYSU got two projects of National Social Science Foundation of Major Projects in 2010 (the Second Group) established.

The project Research on Complication and References of ‘Ming Drama’, proposed by Professor Huang Tianji, was approved to establish, with Grant No. 10&ZD105, total funding 800,000 RMB. The project Development of Chinese Ancient Stylistics, proposed by Professor Wu Chengxue, was also approved to establish, with Grant No.10&ZD102, total funding 400,000 RMB.

Until now, SYSU has already got four projects of National Social Science Foundation of Major Projects in 2010 (two projects in the First Group, two in Second Group), which has made a major breakthrough.
