A good beginning of New Year in publication for Professor Pei Kang Shen’s group

Professor Pei Kang Shen’s group has long been engaged in the research of new energy materials. From the electrochemical point of view, the electrical conductivity of the material is very important. They have found that the three-dimensional hierarchical porous graphene-like carbon has not only very high specific surface area but also very high conductivity. The invented technology has begun batch production of the materials for practical evaluation by different groups at an international level. The material has been applied in electrochemical supercapacitors that show the best performance in the world. Scanning speed of up to 1 V / s, the capacitor materials show square graphic shapes. The work has been recently published in top materials science journal Advanced Materials (DOI: 10.1002/adma.201205332).
