Recently, Multiscale Methods for Fredholm Integral Equations, written by Professor Zhongying Chen, Professor Yuesheng Xu of SYSU and Professor Charles A. Micchelli of State University of New York at Albany was published by Cambridge University Press. The Monograph is included in the Cambridge University Press Collection CAMBRIDGE MONOGRAPHS ON APPLIED AND COMPUTATIONAL MATHEMATICS.
 

Taking 12 years to complete, the monograph has been revised many times and used as textbook for graduate students. It reflects the world-leading achievements made by Professor Yuesheng Xu and his research group on multiscale method for integral equations since 1990s.
 
CAMBRIDGE MONOGRAPHS ON APPLIED AND COMPUTATIONAL MATHEMATICS is the most famous collection in the field. Reportedly, it is the first time the collection includes a monograph involved China mainland scholars.
