"The signing ceremony for the teaching agreement between SYSU and Kiang Wu Hospital & the Opening Ceremony for the SYSU teaching hospital” was held in the meeting room on the top floor of Dr. Henry Y. T. Fok Specialist Medical Center.

President Huang Daren of SYSU and Liu Xiaolin, director of Kiang Wu Hospital, signed the agreement on behalf of both sides. Cui Shian, the Chief Executive of the Macao-SAR, unveiled SYSU teaching hospital. Huang Jiefu, vice minister of the Ministry of Public Health and Xu Shiyuan, vice president of Benevolent Association of Kiang Wu Hospital attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

President Huang Daren reviewed the historical roots of cooperation between SYSU and Kiang Wu Hospital. He also extended a warm welcome to Kiang Wu Hospital for becoming a teaching hospital of SYSU on behalf of the whole staff. Taking this opportunity, both sides will carry out more extensive and profound cooperation by relying on the teaching advantage of university and the geographical advantage of SAR. In order to serve the society and benefit the people, both sides should also attract people, improve technical strength, reinforce medicine subject construction and join forces to produce more outstanding medical talents.
