The preparatory meeting of the Nutrition and Health Enhancement Commission of the Guangdong Health Management Association (GHMA) was held in Guangzhou on July 31. More than 30 candidate members attended the meeting. Professor Peng Junsheng from The Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University was elected as the Chairman.

After being elected, Professor Peng Junsheng delivered his inaugural speech. First, he appreciated the recognition and support of the candidate members. Then, he stressed to further strengthen professional and academic exchanges, and gradually promote the reform measures in the field. At last, he expressed his ardent expectations to work together with all members to promote the development and improve the professional and academic level of medical nutrition.

The first committee of the Nutrition and Health Enhancement Commission of the Guangdong Health Management Association (GHMA) was founded. After the meeting, the Chairman and Vice Chairmen had a discussion on the work plan.
