SYSU signed strategic cooperation framework agreement with Zhongheng Group

On the afternoon of May 12, the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation framework agreement between Sun Yat-sen University and Guangxi Wuzhou Zhongheng Group Co., Ltd. was held in Wuzhou, Guangxi. Xu Ningsheng, President of Sun Yat-sen University; Xu Shuqing, Chairman of the Board of Zhongheng Group; Li Ping, Deputy Secretary of SYSU Party Committee; Chen Shaobin, Assistant President of SYSU; Xu Xinzhong, Dean of Lingnan College of SYSU; Li Hanrong, Director of Education Development & Alumni Affairs Office of SYSU; and the leadership of Zhongheng Group attended the ceremony.

At the signing ceremony, President Xu Ningsheng pointed out that as a leading enterprise in traditional Chinese medicine, Zhongheng Group has played an important role in the development of health cause in China. The strategic cooperation between SYSU and Zhongheng Group will draw on each other’s comparative advantages, promote mutual benefit and open a new chapter for win-win cooperation. The industrial collaborative innovation will speed up SYSU’s construction of a world-class university to serve national and local economic development and make more contribution to the realization of the Chinese Dream.
Chairman Xu Shuqing welcomed the group led by President Xu Ningsheng and said that through in-depth cooperation with SYSU, a first-class university in China, Zhonghen Group will improve its core competitiveness to serve national and local economy and advance the development of the health care cause in China.
According to the agreement, the two sides will have in-depth cooperation in planning consultation, talent cultivation, science and technology innovation, and education.
After the signing ceremony, Dean Xu Xinzhong gave a lecture on financial crisis and the future of global economy to over 400 administrators in Zhongheng Group. He introduced the economic history in the past one hundred years, explained major historic events in the economic changes, and analyzed the future development of Chinese economy and global economy.
