SYSU experts of the 2nd Chinese Medical Team in Ghana returned home on the evening of December 31, 2013 after they accomplished their two-year medical tasks. Wang Jianping, Executive Vice President of SYSU, Fu Jianhua, Director of Bureau of Affiliated Hospitals Administration, Chen Huagui, Deputy Director of Human Resources Department, leaders of relevant affiliated hospitals, and family members of the medical experts meet them at the airport.
Four doctors from SYSU affiliated hospitals, Yang Lu from The First Affiliated Hospital, Jiang Chun from Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital, Yang Yu from The Third Affiliated Hospital and Zeng Zhifan from Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center, were selected as members of the 2nd Chinese Medical Team and they went to Ghana in December 2011. During the two years, they used their expertise and skills to treat the patients, winning extensive recognition and praise for their excellent work and contributions to the medical development in Ghana.
