On the morning of March 28th, the 30th anniversary celebration of
Family Doctor General Practice was held in Swasey Hall in Sun Yat-sen University. Zhu Kongjun, Deputy Secretary of SYSU Party Committee; Qiu Guoxin, Director of Publicity Department; Gu Xiaofeng, General Manager of Industry Group; Su Yi, Director of Division for Science & Technology and Digital Publication of Guangdong News Publication Bureau; Luo Guangxi, Deputy Director of News Publication Administrative Office of Guangdong News Publication Bureau; Liu Youqun, Director of Guangdong Newspaper Circulation Bureau; Zhao Qu, Director of Marketing Department of Guangdong Newspaper Circulation Bureau; Guan Xuntian, founder of
Family Doctor General Practice, and all the staff of the magazine, a total of nearly 150 people attended the activity.
At the celebration meeting, Deputy Secretary Zhu Kongjun highly affirmed the achievement of
Family Doctor General Practice, and pointed out that it is the result of the staff’s 30 years of continuous efforts and it reflected the magazine’s entrepreneurship and team spirit. He added that in the past 30 years the magazine has been dedicated to the promotion of popular health knowledge and has made great contributions to the improvement of the health level of the general public. He also hoped that the magazine could stand at a new starting point and make greater progress on the basis of its current achievements.

The new logo unveiling ceremony
At the celebration meeting, the unveiling ceremony of a new logo of Family Doctor General Practice was also held. Witnessed by the participants, the new logo of Family Doctor General Practice was launched.
Founded in 1983, Family Doctor General Practice has maintained an circulation of over one million for 27 years. Ranked top among domestic periodicals, it is a model in Guangdong’s cultural industry, and has won many awards such as as National Journal Prize, The Most Influential Journal of New China’s 60 Years Award, Chinese Government Publication Award and Nanyue Publication Award.
After entering the 21st century, Family Doctor General Practice has expanded new business and has accelerated the development of digital publication and health animation. It plays an active part in developing relevant industries and gradually achieves strategic transformation. It also strives to provide more comprehensive and diversified health services in order to instill new energy into the magazine and to maintain its leading role in China’s health culture industry.
