On October 18-19, the National Russian Contest for College Students was held in Dalian University of Foreign Languages. Russian-major students from the School of International Studies at Sun Yat-sen University participated in the competition for the first time since this major was reopened in 2009 and began to enroll students in 2011. Zhang Yalin’s swift response and well-organized sentences helped her achieve the fourth place and won second prize. With composed manner and clear expression, Zheng Qianmin displayed her charisma in the speech contest for postgraduates and received Excellence Award.
