As an old saying goes, the early bird catches the worms. 0n our campus, it can be readapted into: students who rise with the sun have more time to learn.

Smooth lake, arranged benches, a loud sound of reading spreads as breeze blows. It has apparently become a common phenomenon to all the students at Sun Yat-Sen University. Every morning from about 6:00am to 9:00am by the lake of Yin, when it is not raining, a number of students will be spotted studying English here with their bikes locked behind the benches, French and Japanese will also be heard sometimes.

It is learned that many of them, if not all come for their CET-4 or CET-6, Lee, one of these morning learners said “I just want to improve my English, be more familiar with the vocabulary required and most crucially, get a reasonable mark in the coming CET-6. By the way, I can’t stand wasting my time on the bed!”

In sum, no pains, no gains. By sacrificing several hours of your sleeping, the outcome might be obvious. In other words, do not lose your game at the very outset. Thus, get up early and enjoy a pleasant beginning of the whole day.
